SPRING SEASON OPTIONS:

SPRING CLUB: Spring Club is for the athlete who wants to practice and compete against outside competition and is sometimes called travel field hockey.  Club players will have two practices per week and then we will add competitive opportunities for each age group.  The U14 and U16 age groups will compete in the Maryland Club League, while the U19 group will participate in JPOL.  We will have team placements and find an appropriate placement for each of our players. If you are not selected for our first team, you will have competitive opportunities, while you may not participate in the Maryland Club League or JPOL, such as games vs. other club teams and other such tournaments.  We will find appropriate competitive opportunities for each player's level of experience.  If you are a current Mustangs player or have played with Storm in the past, you do not need to tryout.  All practices are at George Mason University, West Campus, 17 Rapidan River Road, Fairfax, VA 22030. The practice schedule is below. Practices begin March 12 and continue through May 23.

Mustangs Club players will receive a 50% discount when participating in the Clinic. Practices will take place every Monday from 5:30-7:00 PM.  Clinics begin March 15 and continue through May 24. Athletes will engage in individual skill development, small group drills, and end each session with scrimmages.

PRIVATE LESSONS

This is how it works.  We will come to you.  We will need your help in finding a local field or location with a smooth training surface.  We can use a carpet, a garage with carpet, etc. We can focus on whatever skills you want to learn or we can review and work on all skills.  We can also do some fitness, agility, etc. whatever you want to work on and learn.  If you don't know of a field or space, let me know where you live and we will try and find something.  All the balls and cones are sanitized.  We will wear masks during the entirety of the training session.  The costs are as follows.  An individual session is $75 per hour, two people is $60 per person, a group of 3-4 is $50 per person, and a group of 5-6 is $40 per person.  You would be responsible for finding the groupings.
