    Julia Rivera made an impact on the field hockey squad and in the classroom during her four years at Trinity. The Silver Spring, Md., native was a four-year starter for Bantam Head Coach Anne Parmenter, while earning NESCAC All-Academic and National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic distinction three times. Rivera graduated last spring summa cum laude, with honors in sociology, economics, and urban studies. She was a double major in sociology and economics with a minor in urban studies. Rivera was one of 31 Trinity seniors to be named a President’s Fellow for the 2013-14 academic year. The Society of President’s Fellows was founded at the college in 1974 to recognize outstanding student achievement in their respective majors. The Fellows, who have been nominated by their departments or programs for this honor, meet four times each academic year with President James F. Jones, Jr. She was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

  • Sara Eaton, Brown University, Class of 2009

    A four-year standout for the Bears as a midfielder, Sara Eaton '09 earned Second Team Regional All-America and Second Team All-Ivy accolades as a senior. A two-time All-Ivy selection, she also gained Academic All-Ivy and NFHCA National Academic Squad honors during her career. The Bears' Team MVP as a senior, she ranks 12th all-time at Brown in career assists. Since graduating, Eaton has held multiple marketing roles for USA Network under the umbrella of NBCUniversal and has remained active in mentoring current Brown students and recent graduates.
